My 13 (almost 14) year-old son needs someone to mountain bike with, since he leaves me in the dust. He is an intermediate rider who also races. We are in the Roanoke area, but for fun could sometimes travel a bit for a good ride. Any other teen riders out there? |

If you want someone to ride with your son at Carvin's Cove, let us know. Or we could come down to Pandapas Pond, etc. I say "we" when I am recovering from a badly sprained ankle and so it would probably be me driving my son, but not riding myself for awhile. I can ride flat (like at the beach flat) but it hurts pushing up hills still. He has another friend whose parents bought him a bike, but that friend is about to start soccer season, so he's probably out of the loop.
